November Ends
Wow! It has been a very busy Month. We have finished our Science Unit called Waste in Our World and are writing our final unit test. We have also finished our Number Concepts Unit and are writing our unit test on that.
We have begun our work on paragraph writing by editing a paragraph daily. The classes' understanding of complete sentences has grown! As well as our understanding of verbs, nouns and adjectives. We continue to work towards increasing the amount of writing we complete in an 30minute time period.
We have started a major technology project on the 6 Eco-regions of Alberta. The class has learned how to login to their CBE email, open a template, use Google Earth, take screen shots of images on the web, and insert those photos into a Google Slide presentation. There are many steps in the process and it has been a steep learning curve for most. We are starting to get it though! I will be sending a copy of your child's email address and password home soon.
Today in our backpacks you should find the December Calendar. Tomorrow is the Pillars of Care Assembly. Please join us at 8:15am to honour the kids if your child was nominated.
Thanks and have a fantastic day!

Homework Club
Hello all,
I am offering extra time and help to students Wednesdays at lunch for students who need extra time to complete work that hasn't been completed in class or who would like extra help understanding some concepts.
I have handed back graded Math work today and have found that many are learning the importance of using class time wisely. Luckily there is time and help for those who need it. Please have the discussion with your child about whether they should be joining me Wednesdays at lunch.
I look forward to meeting you all at Parent conferences.
Best Regards,
Mrs. Aleasha Diduch

Spelling Choice Board - 1
Dear Grade Four
Parents,
To support
students in learning to read and spell various high frequency words, the
following Choice Board was created. In
school we will be learning and using these activities as well. Each night, have your child select one way to
practice the weekly high frequency words.
Updated Choice
Boards will be send home which will detail further selections for your
child. The Choice Board should stay at
home and does not need to be returned to school. Evidence of written work does not need to
come to school.
Have fun!
Mrs. Diduch
